What do we use the data we collect for?

We take care to maintain appropriate safeguards and security features to protect the integrity and privacy of the information you provide to us. We encrypt your information to protect it from unauthorised use, and we use pseudonymisation, information access controls, and firewalls.

All information you provide to us is hosted and stored on Microsoft Azure cloud-based services in Ireland which is compliant with ISO27001 standard. If you are not satisfied with the levels of security offered by our cloud provider, you should restrict the nature and amount of information you share with us.

If you choose to create an account with FOOTY.COM®, the information within your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is no unauthorised access to your account by selecting and protecting your password appropriately. It is also advised that you limit access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. You are further responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access your FOOTY.COM® account, and for any activities or actions under your password. FOOTY.COM® encourages you to use “strong” passwords; these being passwords that use a combination of upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols. FOOTY.COM® cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the aforementioned requirements.

The transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure and we, therefore, cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Services. Unauthorised entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. Any provision of data is transmitted at your own risk.

Marketing

If you have affirmatively consented to receive email communications from us, we will send you information about product deals and news that we feel you might be interested in. However, if you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes then you can click the unsubscribe link that features in the footer of all emails we dispatch.

Alternatively, please contact us and we will unsubscribe and/or purge your data from our system(s) manually on your behalf. We will never share your information with other companies for marketing purposes.
